Diatonic Accordion: Melody, Chords & Ensemble Playing

In this group diatonic accordion workshop, we start by learning a melody with accompanying chords. If time allows, we also explore a second voice and delve into specific techniques unique to the diatonic accordion. The workshop is open to different skill levels, but basic knowledge of the instrument is required: you should be able to play a few tunes fluently and be familiar with the keys Am, C, G, and Em. Sheet music will be provided at the start if desired, but most of the learning is done by ear.
