Several bands have emerged from jam sessions at the Muzikantenhuis, and this duo was born from one such musical connection.
Kajetan has a mainly classical background: he studied accordion at LUCA School of Arts (Lemmens campus) and spent a year in Moscow during his studies. He has been teaching classical accordion at GO! Kunstacademie Gent De Poel for four years and regularly performs in various ensembles, while now discovering the world of folk music.
Jeroen studied classical violin for ten years at GO! Kunstacademie Gent De Poel and discovered folk music through dancing. A familiar face at jam sessions, he has played at many folk balls and collaborated with musicians such as Olivier Cap. He also followed masterclasses with Mia Marine, Gabriel Lenoir, and others, and studied folk violin for four years with Wouter Vandenabeele at the Folk Academy of Sint-Niklaas.
