Assabiya

Assabiya refers in Arabic to the concept of community, of doing things together. It is with this in mind that the musicians of this young group from the northern France folk scene are working to create, for the duration of a ball, a union between musicians and dancers.

With their violins, viola da gamba and accordion, these four musicians seek to experiment in their playing style, their working methods and the composition of their repertoire. Scottish, chapelloises, circles, avant-deux, waltzes... whether you are an experienced dancer or a beginner, you will find your place on the floor!
