Nøkkenoc

Nøkkenoc brings together two musicians with Nordic influences, both regulars on the folk and traditional dance scene and based in Occitania. Nyckelharpa, vocals, guitar and cittern intertwine Occitan and Scandinavian traditions in groovy music shaped by borderless influences. Their sound adds a fresh hint of Sweden to the warmth of Occitan land, keeping both traditions present in the same musical space. The repertoire moves through balfolk dances, rondeau, congo, branle, polskas, hallings and more.
