Bargainatt

Born from the friendship of four young musicians, Bargainatt was founded in 2016 in Montpellier. Since then, this dance band has been winning the hearts of dancers across France and Europe. Their name recalls their early days playing on markets with a hat for tips, where music, energy and joy came together.

In the beginning, Bargainatt drew from traditional repertoire and inspiration from great names in the balfolk scene, while gradually composing their own pieces: rhythmic, lively and always in service of the dance. Over time they also added vocals, with lyrics and voice by Youmi, enriching their musical universe.

Their music is a journey through French dance traditions from Auvergne to Brittany via Poitou and Gascony, respecting the subtleties of each style yet always adding their own fresh and energetic touch. Expect colourful melodies, infectious rhythms and an irresistible urge to dance.
